What is Relevance AI?

Relevance AI is built for business teams who want agents without writing code. You assemble specialist agents into a Workforce, give them tools from a large integration catalog, and run them against sales, support, marketing, HR or operations work. The homepage cites an average cost of $0.09 per task, which is a vendor figure.

How do Relevance AI's agent teams work?

Agents in a Workforce share context and coordinate with each other inside Relevance. The exact coordination model, for example whether a manager agent routes work, is not documented on the pages we reviewed. Relevance offers an MCP Gateway for governing tool access and says it supports agent-to-agent communication patterns. We could not confirm explicit A2A protocol support.

Where do humans fit in Relevance AI?

People take part through human-in-the-loop approvals, review and audit trails, which is what most business workflows need. It is less of a shared room where people and agents work side by side in real time.

How much does Relevance AI cost?

The pricing page we reviewed in September 2026 showed a single Enterprise plan through sales: unlimited agents, tools, users, projects and workforces, custom actions and vendor credits, SSO and RBAC. No self-serve tiers or list prices were visible, so contact Relevance AI's sales team for a quote.

Relevance AI or BAND?

The two answer different questions. Relevance AI is where you build new agent teams quickly without code. BAND is where agents you already have, on whatever framework, collaborate with each other and with people. If your agents do not exist yet and your team is non-technical, Relevance is a reasonable start. If they already exist across LangGraph, CrewAI, Copilot Studio or Agentforce, BAND is the better fit.
